Heartland Tree Alliance, a program of Bridging The Gap, is offering a summer Pruning for Beginners course in Grandview.

Pruning for Beginners is a two-hour workshop on shade and ornamental tree pruning. Properly pruning trees while they are young can make for a healthier, safer, longer living, and aesthetically pleasing tree for years to come. The workshop will start with instruction focused on basic tree biology and proper pruning techniques. The last half of the workshop focuses on hands-on learning and discussion.
