Report: Replacing Coal Plants With Solar, Wind Is Cheaper

Replacing coal power plants across the United States with renewable energy projects would reduce carbon emissions and require less water. It would also save money. Critical to the cost advantage of renewable energy in the U.S. is President Joe Biden’s climate legislation, which provides billions of dollars in incentives for clean energy infrastructure.
