Join MCE’s Young Leaders Network

Connect. Learn. Lead.

The Missouri Coalition for the Environment’s Young Leaders Network offers a statewide community of young people ages of 18-28 who are interested in protecting our state’s people and environment.

The Young Leaders Network offers members an opportunity to advance their knowledge of the environment, join free advocacy trainings, connect with other young leaders throughout Missouri, participate in volunteer efforts, fill leadership roles, and working alongside MCE and other environmental organizations and movements in Missouri.

MCE will provide resources, connections, and opportunities for community engagement, including peer-to-peer interactions for members of the Network.

Leadership Council

Young Leaders Network members are eligible to be on the Leadership Council, which helps set the direction and determine the activities of the Network. The Council will be made up of Young Leaders from throughout Missouri, and they will meet via Zoom as well as at occasional in person events.

The Council will be able to select a President, and the President of the Council will be given a seat on the MCE Board of Directors. This provides the Young Leaders Network an opportunity to shape the direction of the entire coalition.

Please email us directly if you are interested in being on the Leadership Council, moenviron@moenvironment.org.

Membership

The Network is a hub of connectivity for young people throughout Missouri. The only requirement to be a member is to be residing in Missouri and be between the ages of 18-28. Members of the Network are also considered members of the Missouri Coalition for the Environment, and they will receive the benefits of MCE membership as well.
