Mid-America Regional Council will host two workshops designed to move eligible federal funding applicants (and other infrastructure project champions) beyond a piecemeal approach and into a larger view of collaborative regional funding prospects. Register to help Climate Action KC develop their climate action priorities!
On Sept. 7, 2023 from 8:30am to noon, there will be a Climate Resilience Planning workshop that will address multiple areas in the climate plan, including food systems, green infrastructure, resilience hubs, circular economy, and more.
On Sept. 8, 2023 from 8:30am to noon, there will be a Climate Mitigation Planning workshop that will include discussion of transportation systems, building energy efficiency and energy generation, among other factors.
Both workshops will be held at the Westport Plexpod 1923 Room, 300 E 39th Street, Kansas City, MO, 64111. Environmental justice will be integral to all discussions. There is no cost to attend, but registration is requested.
