Seed Gathering with KC Wildlands

Join The Resilient Activist for a morning of native seed gathering with Kansas City WildLands, a program of Bridging The Gap, at Rocky Point Glade in Swope Park.

This partner event invites us to spend time in one of Kansas City’s remnant wild places while supporting hands-on ecological restoration. Together, we’ll help gather native seeds that can be used to restore and strengthen biodiversity across public lands in the Kansas City region.

Native seed gathering is a meaningful way to slow down, learn from the landscape, and participate in the long work of restoration. It is also a beautiful reminder that resilience is something we practice in relationship — with each other, with the land, and with the living systems that support us.

We’ll begin the morning by gathering seeds with guidance from KC WildLands. Afterward, we’ll meet at The Lodge for snacks, coffee, and conversation.

Please note: this event is being coordinated through Bridging The Gap / KC WildLands. Registration will take place through their online volunteer portal, not through The Resilient Activist.
