Our non-profit Partners occasionally present fundraising events that provide unique opportunities to learn and support climate solutions while meeting other climate-minded people in a fun setting. These fundraisers are not only wonderful opportunities to socialize with like-minded people, but are an easy way for you to support our partners important climate work. The Sewing Labs

August 18, 2023 6:00-9:00 pm ~ Make’n HERStory Gala  by The Sewing Labs. Held at 28 Event Space in the Kansas City Room, 1300 W 28th Street, KCMO 64108.  Celebrate with us and learn about the sewists and the mission of the Sewing Labs. This event is an evening filled with inspiring stories, good food & drink while making new friends and connections.Hear directly from our student sewists about The Sewing Labs’ positive impact on their lives. The Resilient Activist

August 20, 2023 10:00 am – 2:00pm Big Bluestem Bash by The Resilient Activist. Held at Botanical Belonging at Happy Apple’s Farm,17524 178th St, Tonganoxie, KS 66086. Join The Resilient Activist for our 2nd annual fundraiser. Festivities begin at a restored prairie within a luscious home garden bursting with summer blooms and seasoned native plants. Tour the greenhouse, spot insects and wildlife, inhale delightful fragrant blossoms, take your picture next to a sheath of big bluestem, and relax in the shade of mature trees swaying in the breeze. Some activities are native plant sale, local vendor fair offering an array of sustainable goods, activities for Earth lovers of all ages, informational workshops, and enter to win a variety of artistic & intriguing raffle items! Groundwork Northeast KCK Revitalization Group

Now until August 23, 2023  Tax Sale On-Line Fundraiser hosted by  Groundwork Northeast KCK Revitalization Group and WyCo Mutual Aid.  We have identified and knocked on the doors of the 44 families who are set to lose their homes. At the bare minimum, we want to pay the amount of the families we are already in direct contact with. This amount is $18,000. Any donations we receive through this website right now will go to this and future tax sales. We are fighting to ABOLISH this oppressive practice. Sept. 17, 2023 6:00-9:00pm – Dig In! Farm To Table Dinner hosted by Cultivate KC in the Historic City Market, 5th St & Walnut St Kansas City, MO 64106. Dig In! is Cultivate KC’s annual farm-to-table benefit and is one of the most talked-about dinner events in the area. It is famous for its amazing multi-course meal created by local chefs, using local ingredients.
