Resource Connections for Sustainability Meeting

Resource Connections for Sustainability is an in-person meet-up for community groups/people who are doing work or volunteer driven improvement projects. We provide an opportunity to connect with each other, businesses and organizations to share resources. Climate Council GKC provides an opportunity to connect with each other, businesses and organizations to share resources. We are hoping to provide a network of connection and resources for those who work to enhance our community’s environments.

What to Expect

Community leaders, organizers, creators, and resource providers sharing their projects and needs.

  • 10 min – Roundtable intro of Name project/resource and affiliation
  • 35 min Max -7 presentations
  • 10 min – wrap up and networking

We use the following guidelines for our time together

  • Listen to create understanding, leaving issues and judgements at the door.
  • Assume good intentions with no hidden agenda.
  • Respect yourself and others by using appropriate language, pronouns and complete explanations.
  • Be mindful of time when sharing, giving each person’s voice an equal weight.
  • Provide ideas that focus on creating the future not reliving the past.
