KC Can Compost is excited to share an opportunity for people looking for employment. KC Can Compost’s Green Core Training offers valuable knowledge and skills applicable to both employment and community development. The next class begins September 2nd at the Bluford Library at 3050 Prospect Ave.

This five-week program combines workplace readiness and green jobs training. Participants learn about 100 different green jobs, earn stipends, and complete pre-apprenticeships with the US Department of Labor as Environmental Specialists.
We are committed to helping our students and graduates find employment in a green career of their choosing. Anyone interested can contact me by email or phone. We meet with everyone interested the week before class begins.
