KC Can is an innovative non-profit with a dual mission. Representing our environmental values, we operate an organics collection program to divert compostable food waste from the landfill and turn it into nutrient-rich soil amendment. Our social program is called Green Core Training, which is an educational program to prepare people facing barriers to employment for work in the green industry.
KC Can's organics collection program is a scalable system, making it easy for businesses of all sizes - from a small cafe to the Nelson or Costco - to divert compostable waste from the landfill and reduce their environmental footprint. Our system really is turnkey; we handle the logistics, equipment, signage, education, and promotion to make easy to go green.
