Heartland Conservation Alliance Invites You to a Bird Walk!

Heartland Conservation Alliance invites you to a Bird Walk at the Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center (4750 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64110) on October 28th. The event is free and no experience is required. This event will be guided by Jalen. Expect to enjoy the sounds of feathered friends and nature. Fun for all ages and abilities!

There are two time slots available: 8 AM – 9 AM OR 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM 

We will use the Merlin bird app to identify birds around us.  The Merlin app on Android can be found here, and on Apple here. Once the app is downloaded, open the Settings, please install the US Midwest Bird Pack.

Please dress appropriately for the weather. Not required, but you may choose to bring , binoculars, a notebook for your bird list and any other bird identifying items.
