Join Lindsay Hoyt of Grow Native! member Bonny in Time Native Garden Design for a guided hike of MPF’s Snowball Hill Prairie near Harrisonville, Missouri.
Discover the difference between an original unplowed prairie remnant and a reconstructed prairie. Learn about native prairie plants, grassland birds, and other creatures that inhabit a prairie habitat. Dress for a day in the field–long pants, sturdy shoes, insect repellent and sunscreen. Up to one mile of walking over rolling terrain. Bring binoculars if you have them! The tour will last about two hours. Minimum of 6 participants, maximum of 15 participants.
