Saturday April 8, 2023, Farmers Paul and Emily need your help! You’ll be helping grow food in the heart of our city! They’ll be welcoming volunteers at Westport Commons Farm one Saturday a month this growing season.
Interested in urban agriculture? Want to meet others who share a passion for food?Excited to see where your tomatoes come from? Cultivate KC offers a range of volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups, from working in the field, staffing events, to assisting in the office.
Plan a work the farm day with your organization, company, church or friend group to experience a little of what it’s like to be an urban grower! Volunteer groups can be as small as 5 and as large as 25.

Come help us for a few hours- get your shoes muddy and your hands dirty while learning what Cultivate KC is all about.
Please dress for the weather, wear suitable shoes and bring yourself a water bottle. Kids are welcome to join with supervision. See you out in the field!
