On April 5th at 4:30, New Roots for Refugees will be hosting a potluck and celebration honoring the monumental life of Sam Davis. In early March our dear friend and coworker Sam Davis passed away. All are invited to attend who knew this man, knew his work, and wish to uplift his impact on the Kansas City community.
We encourage folks to bring perennial wildflower transplants or seeds to sow in his garden plot as part of a living memorial at Juniper Gardens Training Farm. Bring a dish to share; New Roots will provide the drinks.
