The One Thing Movement is a concept that grew from Stacey Adams’ experience as a teacher. An educational approach starts small empowering students and giving them the confidence to move onto more complex problems. Classrooms are communities of engaged learners working together in ways that match their abilities and interests.
Adams believes that taking small steps can carry us forward to make a big difference and she is applying classroom systems to the climate problems we face today. By starting with small things and working to instill in our communities a sense of confidence she knows that we can empower each member to tackle larger and larger problems.
