Building Block to a Sustainable Life

The video below, produced by Mike Nickerson, looks at the key building block for a sustainable, low carbon world. This video presents basic sustainability methods as we continue to face global challenges to our climate.

In 2023, The Climate Council gathered climate experts and activists to form an advisory panel. Mike, a well known sustainability activist from Canada, answered the call along with ten others from the USA. The continued collaboration with these outstanding individuals is instrumental to The Climate Council’s mission.

Mike reached out to share his video as it represents the culmination of his work in Canada. It covers what he has identified as the essential building block to living sustainably. Additionally, the video is timely and easily understood and globally applicable. The art work and imagery is excellent. It brings science to those of us with non-scientific backgrounds as well as to every age group.

Mike, who wrote the script, states “. . .faced with climate change, the cost of living and other issues, many [people] today are worried about the world. The perspective offered in this video plants seeds to be cultivated into new, innovative ways to make the world work for generations to come.”
