From the Kick Off zoom event on April 15 to the “Living Local & Natural for Sustainability” webinar on Sunday April 23, the week was packed with quality in-person and virtual events. In case you missed it, there were several live streams from the events that you can watch on @climategkc’s YouTube channel.
On April 15, Climate GKC checked in with the “Buseum” as they stopped at English Landing in Parkville, MO. You can see these amazing students as they talk about their exhibit: https://www.youtube.com/live/DJf0XOxAGRY?feature=share.
The very next day, April 16, Climate GKC was at the Unity Temple on the Plaza to talk with exhibitors at this event. Want to know who was there and what they were up to? Watch the live stream here: https://www.youtube.com/live/wfUeeua8nkU?feature=share.
Throughout the week, there were in-person and virtual events, but on April 22 Earth Day, there were so many celebrations. You could find partners of Climate Council GKC at Manheim Gardens Spring Fling, Deep Roots Callery Pear Buyback Event, Earth Day & Native Plant Sale, multiple locations for neighborhood clean ups, activities at Suds Refillery, Un Dumpster Day, HERA’s Earth Beat Festival, Compost Fest and so much more! With so much to choose from, we were only able to catch a few of these.
