Spiritual Yearning for a Healed World: Interfaith Art, Music, Poetry and Stories

It may be that part of being human is to feel a connection with nature. For Jews, Christians and Muslims, God’s Creation can inspire reflection, reverence and stewardship; for Buddhists, Hindus and Taoists, followers embrace an invisible spiritual link between nature and humans beings; and for indigenous peoples, the Earth, and all life, is sacred and can impart spiritual wisdom.

This online Zoom program, organized by the the Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council, will present examples of art, music, poetry and stories from Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Native American, Catholic, Sukyo Mahikari, Sufi and other faith traditions reflecting how each faith finds reverence, care, wisdom and hope from a relationship and engagement with Creation. Our hope is that these offerings will echo and help deepen the reverence and care already present in your heart.
