Join Heartland Conservation Alliance this season to gain hands-on experience restoring and managing urban green spaces in the Blue River watershed. HCA is seeking Conservation Land Steward Interns.
Interns assist with invasive species removal, trail maintenance, timber stand improvement, ecological monitoring, and volunteer coordination, while learning practical land stewardship and conservation skills. This seasonal internship offers mentorship, professional development, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on Kansas City’s natural spaces. A small stipend may be available.
