Join Friends of the Kaw for a Kansas Riverbank cleanup! Many volunteers, community members, sponsors, and partners will be a part of the event and we need your help, too.
The first 300 people in attendance will receive a free One KC t-shirt!
We’ll meet at Kaw Point Park in Kansas City, Kansas. Families are welcome. After checking in at Kaw Point Park, we’ll learn about the project and get instructions. Then, we’ll get to work picking up trash and litter in the park and near the Kansas Riverbank.
Please wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Please bring gloves and a water bottle. Water stations will be available where you can refill your water bottle.
