The 2022 Earth Festival is this weekend, Saturday 4/23, simultaneously online and in-person at Unity Temple on the Plaza. Expert speaker panels and a Climate Fair highlight a day filled with tree give-aways, art exhibits and restoration garden tours, wrapped up by a climate film festival that evening.
Expert Panels include “Faith Communities Responding to the Climate Crisis” produced by the Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council, and “Political Solutions to Climate Problems” produced by the Climate Council. The “Heart & Soil” film festival is produced by CinemaKC.
