People like you are growing native plant gardens all over Kansas City! Our new Native Garden Tour program, launching this spring, will give you a chance to visit some with us every month. You are invited to visit three private native plant gardens with us, every month of the growing season. That’s 21 gardens, over a 7-month sweep of gorgeous native blooms!
From the fairytale bluebells of April to the spectacular goldenrods of October, experience the magic of native plant gardens in person. You’ll meet other wildlife lovers and native plant gardeners, and find inspiration, information and practical resources for growing your own garden habitat.
These aren’t fancy, perfectly manicured gardens (although some are). They’re living landscapes rich in wildlife and the native plants that provide their habitat. (But of course there will be many beautiful flowers!)
SECOND SATURDAYS
Visit three private habitat gardens every Second Saturday, from April to October! That’s 21 gardens, over 7 months — a panoramic sweep of the native flora that support our birds, bees and butterflies.
Because what you plant matters — to the well-being of our people, our wildlife and the natural environment we all share.

SEASON SUBSCRIPTION
Subscription for the season is by suggested donation: $48 for one person, $88 for two people (find a buddy and save!). Your Season Subscription gives you admission to all 21 gardens, a list of key plants for every garden, and some nice surprises through the season. (And we do mean nice!)
Note: As a courtesy to our generous garden hosts and their neighbors, a separate registration will be required each month. Season Subscribers will receive an email for priority registration. After that, as space permits, individual tickets will be available for $10 each.
