Climate Council GKC is hosting a space August 7, 2025 from 10-11am at Kansas City Community Gardens (6917 Kensington Ave, Kansas City, MO 64132).
You are invited to meet with Climate Council GKC and other KC Metro groups/people/businesses/organizations who are working on community improvement projects or supporting community projects that focus on sustainable community environments. The goal is to hear what others are doing and help connect them to others and resources. Some will attend with a project that needs resources while others may attend as a resource provider. This is an opportunity to collaborate and raise up our work.
We invite people to attend to just listen or share what you do & your wish-list or help connect others with resources. Please register using this link:
Agenda:
- 10am – Roundtable intro of Name project/resource and affiliation
- 10:10- 10:45 Presentations from groups highlighting their project resources needed and/or to share.
- 10 min – wrap up and networking
Each group will have an opportunity to introduce themselves followed by seven 5-minute group presentations which you may sign up for when you register. We do have time set aside at the end of the meeting for networking and connecting on project specifics. We plan to meet every 2 months on the first Thursday. Our next meeting will be Oct. 2, 2025 at 10am, place TBD.
