Join Heartland Conservation Alliance, Bluestem Habitat Restoration, and Synergistic Ecological Restoration for a hands-on day of community action as part of the Renewing the Blue initiative.
June 27, 2026
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM CDT
We’ll be removing trash and debris from illegal dumping sites along the Blue River. Volunteers will help restore the river’s beauty, protect wildlife habitat, and create a cleaner, healthier environment for our community.
All collected debris will be removed from the site, with dumpster pickup scheduled for Saturday, June 27.
Special thanks to My Dumpster Guy and Raptor Recycle & Transfer for helping make this cleanup possible.
Together, we can Renew the Blue.

This effort reflects the One Health approach, which recognizes that the health of people, animals, plants, and the environment are deeply connected. By removing harmful waste and restoring the Blue River, we’re protecting water quality, reducing hazards to wildlife, and creating a safer, healthier space for everyone who calls this watershed home. Together, we can improve community well-being, strengthen ecosystems, and support a thriving river corridor for future generations.
