Project Blue River Rescue #35

On April 5, 2025 at 9am, Missouri Stream Teams is hosting the 35th Project Blue River Rescue in Kansas City!

Join the event by helping to pick up storm drain trash along banks and illegal dumps on adjacent roads. Come prepared for the weather and bring your own water. HCA will provide trash bags and gloves.

After the clean up

A hot dog lunch will be served from 11 am -1 pm at Lakeside Nature Center to celebrate with your friends.  Bring your best finds, your “trash treasures,” to the trash contest at 12 Noon during lunch at Lakeside Nature Center. The crowd will decide the winners!

Meet us at The Municipal Farm, 4635 E. Coal Mine Road, Kansas City, MO 64129. This is near 4635 East Coal Mine Road with parking location at 39.045071, -94.507058. HCA staff will be located at the listed address and will provide tools and be able to answer any questions.
