The Climate Council has launched new educational programming for those who want to manage their health and environmental exposure to climate and plastics risks. Free one-hour presentations are available to groups of ten or more, and seven-week workshops are available to those who wish to gain in-depth knowledge and certification.
The presentations now offered are titled (1) Prospering in a Post-Climate Change World, and (2) Unpacking the Plastics Pandemic. These focus on sustainability and plastics respectively. Workshops lead to recognition as a (1) Certified Sustainability Associate, or (2) Certified Plastics Management Associate. Certified Associates may go on to earn professional certification which includes the tools and resources needed to commercially present the above presentations and workshops.

The Council’s climate sustainability programs break climate issues down into manageable sections; each with a group of small, clear actions that are easily taken and, together, help secure your health and safety, save money, and position you for a safe and prosperous future.
The Council’s plastics programs unpack today’s world of nondegradable microplastic particles, fibers and the toxic forever chemicals used to make them; giving you the knowledge and tools to minimize your exposure, save money and live a healthier life.
Presentations are free to groups of ten or more and workshops are available on a sliding scale based on group size. Discounts and scholarships are available for schools and nonprofits.
