Kansas City Vote’s on Carbon Fee and Dividend

On May 22, 8:30 a.m., the Finance and Governing Committee of the City Council of Kansas City will consider CCL-KC’s resolution embracing carbon fee and dividend. CCL-KC anticipates passage by this committee, with a referral to the full city council. The attending public may provide input to the committee, comprised of a two minute comment.

This event is the fruition of almost two years of effort by a team of CCL-KC volunteers, and we fully anticipate a positive outcome.  Once passed, Kansas City will be the only city in the Heartland to endorse carbon fee and dividend, joining over 100 cities nationwide.
