Everyone can also support local food systems by calling or emailing the Missouri House Budget Chair, Dirk Deaton; phone: 573-751-9801, email: [email protected] to voice your support of an active budget amendment in support of local food sponsored by MO-22 Representative Yolanda Young.
There are no guarantees, but just know many are working hard behind the scenes to improve food systems support for KC! We appreciate all you are doing and will do. Start making those calls/writing those emails.
