The City of KCMO staff has come to an agreement with KCP&L and will be asking the City Council to authorize the City Manager to enter into agreements for the purpose of purchasing electric energy from a renewable energy resource. This will ultimately lead to procuring all electricity needs from renewable energy sources. The ordinance, No. 190233, is docketed for hearing on April 4, 2019 to be heard by the KCMO City Council.
