Heartland Conservation Alliance is thrilled to host a Woodland Restoration Event at the Heartland Overlook Preserve, 9106 Chestnut Avenue, Kansas City, MO (HOP). Join us December 7 from 8am to 12 noon as Christian, a Master Naturalist and our Conservation Land Steward, provides an informative briefing on plant identification, woodland ecology, removal techniques for invasive plant species, safety protocols, and other essential aspects of woodland restoration.
Following the briefing, volunteers will actively participate in removing invasive species within the designated restoration zone, ensuring that native species are protected and unharmed.
This is a free event, but registration is appreciated. REGISTER HERE
