Make paper beads with reuse materials! Learn how to turn left over paper into a beaded necklace, bracelet or garland. This simple project will introduce a new craft skill, requires repeated practice of the new skill, and encourages tinkering through material exploration and individual designs. Design & Build Badge: Transportation of the Future
Envision, design, and build transportation of the future! Think through how we use cars and other transportation now. How can we improve it? Can we design new ways to travel that better fit the needs of our society, and our environment? Create a vision, set your design criteria, sketch your idea, and make a model. This maker space style class will present a wide range of reuse materials for making models. Best for ages 6-10 and meets the badge requirements for the Brownie Automotive 1: Design Girl Scout Badge.
