Fungi Foray and Wild Edibles Hike at Blue River Parkway at Minor Park 

Ever wondered what edible treasures might be growing right in your own backyard or local park? On April 19, 2025 from 2:00-4:00pm, join Heartland Conservation Alliance and our expert guide, Alix, for an immersive and educational Wild Edibles & Fungi Foray. Meet us at 11477 Blue River Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137 at 2pm. This isn’t your traditional walk in the woods; it’s a journey into understanding the intricate and delicious world of wild plants and fungi.


More than just a learning opportunity, this hike is a chance to connect with nature on a deeper level. You’ll experience the joy of discovering hidden bounties, the thrill of identifying new species, and the satisfaction of understanding the interconnectedness of our ecosystems.
