Kids Corner & Bookwalk
11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Presented by Dreams KC

The kids corner is filled with children activities, including an interactive literacy experience where children and families walk along a designated path while reading a story displayed on posted signs. Each stop along the walk reveals a new page of the book, allowing young readers to practice their phonics skills with decodable text. Decodable books are designed to align with specific phonics skills, helping children strengthen their reading abilities as they follow the story. This unique and engaging activity combines physical movement with learning, making it fun for children to build confidence as they read!
