“Common Ground” Film To Premiere At Glenwood Arts Theater

Kansas CIty! The follow up to ‘Kiss the Ground’ (Netflix) is coming to Overland Park at Fine Arts Theatres (Glenwood Arts Theatre) for a one-week-only premiere December 1st-6th. Be the first in Kansas to see the award-winning independent documentary film: Common Ground!

The opening weekend of the premiere week includes Q&A panel discussions after the first two screenings:

Q&A #1 on December 1st at 7pm:

Special guests include Ray Archuleta (Certified Professional Soil Scientist at Soil Science Society of America, featured in Common Ground); Carrey Gillam (Investigative Reporter, featured in Common Ground); Jacob Canyon (Land Manager and Farmer at Good Oak); and moderated by Erica Campbell (Policy Director, Kiss The Ground).

Q&A #2 on December 2nd, 4:30pm:

Special guests include Farmer Dan Krull (Director of Agriculture at Good Oak); Andrea Clark (Director of Food System Planning, KC Healthy Kids); Alana Henry (Farmer, Young Family Farm KC); Brooke Salvagio (Urbavore Urban Farm); and moderated by Brian Weinberg (Foundation for Regeneration).

About the film: As a powerful follow-up to ‘Kiss the Ground’ (Netflix), ‘Common Ground’ is a sobering yet hopeful independent documentary investigating the often toxic interconnections of farming and food systems, and explores the destruction and healing across the United States and beyond, by sharing stories of people utilizing and supporting regenerative agriculture.
