The Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council is comprised of Faith Directors who belong to 22 distinct faith philosophies represented in the greater community. We work to increase multi-faith understanding. And providing engaging and educational programs about the many diverse faiths and traditions represented in Greater Kansas City
Among the Council’s goals is:
* To model and promote spiritual and religious values, especially those of mutual respect and cooperation, in a society often intolerant of cultural and religious diversity; and
* To help the community become more aware of the spiritual values that can help resolve issues related to environmental and the climate crisis and to social and personal realms of our lives.
We do this by holding interfaith workshops and programs and by promoting sustainable climate friendly life styles and actions among faith member groups.
