Our mission is to support, recognize, and develop talent and achievement in filmmakers; while building audiences and growing the reputation for quality studio and independent motion picture production by the professional film and video community in the Midwest region. We have a special commitment to films that explore social issues and diversity.
CinemaKC is an initiative of the Film Society of Greater Kansas City which is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that has been connecting films and filmmakers with movie lovers since 1991.
CinemaKC TV is a film showcase that can be viewed on KCPT PBS, on our website, and our YouTube channel.
