Hello Kansas CCL Supporters,
We are eager to invite you to a special online training, the Kansas’ Five Levers Organizing Workshop (FLOW) on Saturday, February 13 from 9am – 11am CST.CCL’s Director of Field Development, Elli Sparks, will be joining myself and other Kansas CCL leaders from around the state to co-host this event.
If you’re interested in learning how to become a more effective climate advocate, this is something you won’t want to miss!
This dynamic workshop, that CCL calls the FLOW training, will focus on the Five Levers of Organizing that are central to CCL’s proven formula for creating political will in Congress. The workshop will begin by recapping concepts from CCL’s Climate Advocate Training, then dive into the Five Levers of Political Will — Lobbying, Grassroots, Grasstops, Media, and Chapter Development. A training session and group brainstorming on the five levers will highlight how we as Kansas CCL advocates can add structure and purpose to our advocacy through individual, chapter, and even statewide projects.
This short two-hour training is for all CCL volunteers and supporters who are interested in learning more about what we can do to create political will for our members of Congress to support effective, fair, and enduring solutions to the climate crisis.
To register for this free event and get the info needed to join the Zoom meeting, RSVP on the registration page below. A confirmation email with instructions on how to join the workshop will be sent to you when you register.
