“Becoming a Resilient Activist – Mindfulness and Resilience Training”

“Becoming a Resilient Activist – Mindfulness and Resilience Training”

Informational Meeting

on Tuesday May 10, 6:30-7:30pm CST via Zoom.

Have you ever felt overwhelm, burnout, or despair within environmental activism? Researcher Tyler Staples and The Resilient Activist Founder Sami Aaron are leading a free intensive mindfulness and resilience training program to give activists the tools they need to stay nourished for the long haul.

Join our informational meeting this May 10 to get more info on the training program, which also serves as a research study to gain insight into the experiences and needs of activists. The informational session will serve as an opportunity for participants to evaluate whether they would like to make the commitment to participate in the 9-week research study that will be held on Tuesdays on Zoom from May 17 – July 12, 6:30-8pm CST.

This course will incorporate resilience training, trauma and grief support, mindfulness practices, body relaxation, breathwork, and nature immersion. There is no cost for either the informational session or the research study.

You can find all the details and register for the informational session at this link.
