On March 20, 2026 at 12:30 – 1:30pm Linda Hall Library invites you to make a nature connection at the In Bloom: Soundscapes in the Arboretum 2.
This event will take place on the south lawn of the arboretum near the entrance to the courtyard. Bring your own blanket or chair to lounge on the sidewalk or grass. Seating will not be provided.
Christina Silvius will perform an improvised soundscape with amplified viola, voice, looping station, and electronics. This performance invites the listener to take a moment of reflection and witness the beauty of magnolia trees in bloom, providing a soundtrack for the beginnings of spring in the arboretum.
Bring a blanket and spend a restful afternoon in nature!
