On the first Thursday of each month from 8:30-9:30am, Cultivate KC is hosting an Agriculture Coffee Talk for urban area farmers at Blip Roasters. We are creating a space to give back to you, the farmers, to do what you do best- share, support, and uplift one another. KC metro farmers face unique challenges every day, especially during these challenging times. These coffee talks are a chance for you to come together and share your struggles, triumphs, and give and receive advice from your peers doing the work alongside you. Drip coffee is provided for all attendees.
This month on April 2, 2026, we are discussing all things carrots. Come learn from Farmer, Jason Copling, of George Washington Carver Farm. We will walk through seeding, germination, weeding, and harvest. Come prepared with all your questions about carrots!
*A huge shoutout to Sharon Autry at Miami County Conservation District for sharing her experience hosting the Non-Trad Ag Coffee talks every month.*
