Due to the recent federal termination of our ILA grant — a community-led initiative to expand land access and deliver support directly to farmers — Cultivate KC has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Midtown Hoedown. In this moment, our team needs to redirect our energy where it’s needed most, toward the urban farmers who were counting on this program.
We have so loved scootin’ boots, betting on chicken sh*t bingo, and raising a glass (or two) with you the last few years. We are committed to bringing the Hoedown back next year. If you’ve already purchased tickets, we’ll be reaching out to you soon.
In the meantime, the best way to show up for us is to support our mission to Grow Food, Farms, and Community. Thank you for standing with us – we’ll see you on the dance floor in 2027!
