On April 11 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, join KC WildLands at Maple Woods Natural Area and greet the spring!
Spend time with Kansas City’s most biodiverse natural spaces and learn about nature! Participants will be guided alongside conservation professionals to experience our remnant native ecosystems through presentations, hiking, nature walks, and/or hands-on experiences depending on the event.
This work helps to preserve and restore the health and resilience of our public lands. Kansas City WildLands is a team of Bridging The Gap. No experience necessary! We’ll train volunteers to conduct some biodiversity surveys, remove invasive bush honeysuckle, and finish up with social time at nearby Origin Coi Nguon, a locally-owned Vietnamese coffee house.
