Uncover the silent secrets of the winter woods! The Heartland Conservation Alliance and the Missouri Master Naturalists invite you to join a special guided bird hike on December 13th from 8:30am to 9:30am at Minor Park. We’ll track the resilient feathered residents who bravely face the cold along the Blue River, offering a unique opportunity to learn how local wildlife survives the winter season. We will focus on identifying the fascinating bird species that make this area their home all year long. This is a perfect opportunity to sharpen your birding skills and learn about the survival strategies of our year-round avian residents.
All skill levels are welcome! Please bring your own binoculars if you have them; we will have a few pairs available to borrow.
Please help us stay green by bringing your own water bottle!
