SUMMARY:April Repair Cafe and Clothing Swap
DESCRIPTION:We throw away a lot of stuff, often because it’s cheaper to replace rather than repair it or we just don’t know how to fix it.  That’s where Repair Cafés come in! Together with our volunteers, you can have your broken items repaired instead of tossing them.*\nWe’ll be doing fixes for items such as:\n\nBikes\nClothing/textiles (repairs only, no alterations, please)\nComputers (Virus/malware removal, file transfers, other basic repairs)\nElectronics\nJewelry\nLamps\nSmall appliances (e.g., replacing cords on handmixers, toasters, irons, etc.)\n\n*Limit of 1 item per turn and 3 items total. Stay for additional turns if volunteers are available to help.\nWe’ll also have a free clothing swap–just bring your clean, gently used clothes to trade with others and refresh your wardrobe the FREE and sustainable way!\nVolunteers\nIf you’re someone who enjoys tinkering or problem-solving to get something working again or loves to organize, we’re looking for volunteers!
