DESCRIPTION:Help us celebrate and nurture this amazing blue marble we call home. Join us for an Earth Day volunteer event followed by a happy hour to celebrate Mother Earth – and your hard work!\nJoin us, along with our friends at the Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council, as we offer some much needed springtime help to Midtown KC urban farms. We’re excited this Earth Day to send groups of volunteers to several farms including:\nYoung Family Farm\nIvanhoe Neighborhood Community Garden\nDirt Beast Farm\nGlobal One Urban Farming\nLongfellow Farm\nReturn to the Ivanhoe Community Orchard, located next door to the Community Center at 1703 E 37th St, KCMO for a happy hour with vendors from The Food Circle, snacks, cake, complimentary beverages, and a few fun giveaways!\n• 1:00 pm: Meet up at Ivanhoe Neighborhood Center for a short rally, to get instructions, and to organize carpooling.
