Questions about Climate Change and Food Get Addressed

The world’s food system is responsible for about a fourth of the greenhouse gases, which humans generate that are leading to global warming.  This food system includes the raising and harvesting of all plants, animals, and animal products that are consumed, as well as all the processing, packaging, and shipping involved in getting food to markets all over the world. This article examines how the food system contributes to climate change, which foods have the largest impact, what foods have a reduced carbon footprint, among many important issues.
