Missouri House Passes Roadblock to Multi-State Clean Energy Power Line

The Missouri House has passed legislation that could block the developers of one of the nation’s largest wind energy projects from using eminent domain to string a high-voltage power line across the Midwest, including a large swath through west-central Illinois. The project’s private developers say it has the potential to bring affordable, renewable energy to millions of homes.
