4th Annual KU Health & Wellness Symposium

Sustainable Health & Wellness Design

Hospitals and other healthcare facilities generate major energy and natural resource demands.  We believe it is important for our students to be aware of how sustainable design concepts can be incorporated into their careers.  Although our focus will be on healthcare, we invite all interested students and faculty to the symposium.

  • Steve McDowell, Director of Design, BNIM
  • Rick Maniktala, PE, President, BranchPattern
  • Willa Kuh, Director of Planning for Building Performance, AEI, Inc..

We will provide 3 H&W AIA CEU’s to participating architects.  Register and sign-in at the symposium to confirm attendance.  FREE OF CHARGE, but please register to guarantee your spot or claim CEU credits.  Register:  www.arcd.ku.edu/hws
