On Aug. 12, 2020, 6:30 p.m., Citizens Climate Lobby-Kansas City, will hold its monthly meeting. CCL is a national nonprofit advocating for Congressional passage of a carbon fee and dividend system to rapidly reduce carbon emissions. A bill in Congress, the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act, embraces much of CCL’s plan.
Activities of the prior month will be reviewed, along with upcoming opportunities for advocacy in the coming months.
